Just finished the game, it was a unique way to tell the story and I liked the yellow font in the beginning. I found it a bit hard to read and play at the same time, because I didn't know what will expect me (enemies etc.). Now that I know that it's about the story, it's a chill experience.
One note: I fell right into the water in the third part, so I didn't see what the game was trying to say just before entering the water, so maybe in a future release make it impossible to immediately jump in the water?
This was such a solid narrative, I love it. Its amazing for this being your first game! One thing i would suggest is in the future take the time for sound, especially in something like this it would take it to the next level! Congrats on the first game!
I agree with him sound would have made your game better and I really love how you did the animations for your player and the text its really flowed well.

Maybe if I was explict about being a simple story or if I had put a chilly soundtrack on background, it would be nicer.

I really like the running animation, the motion blur on it looks really cool. But the collision when switching animations is a bit buggy
